Genius

What is something that you would think to be genius?

 

I picked the iPhone. It’s a phone where you can not only call nut you can do almost anything on. For an example you can watch movies you can video chat, check your email or business information. You can also buy things and connect with your friends. In reality there are billions of apps at your disposal they almost have an app for anything. The iPhone is genius because if you think about the idea of the iPhone it’s pretty out there. It’s just not something that was thought up in one day. Like just think how hard it was to connect the billions of networks plus have a store for the billions of apps and the other many things the iPhone can do like siri and maps. When you use a smart phone it makes your life easier and opens many new doors to what you can do with it. In my opinion a genius is a person who has an extraordinary idea that performs a action and creates something using that idea which lets others benefit.

is Eduation kiloing creativity?

i think creativity is being killed by education because teachers dont care about it. The teachers will give kids an assignment or a project and just get it done. There is no extra thought or effort put into it. Creativity is not something you can just do you have to practice at it and it isnt stressed enough in school nor do we as students have the oppurtuniites to be cretive. Sometimes being creative means taking a chance where we could potentially be wrong. But were are taught in school that being wrong is a bad thing so we are less likely to take that chance of being creative and beng wrong. In highschool there werent many ways i could have been creative but there were a few. One way i was able to be creative was with a project or like a powerpoint. I also took a physics class which was more hands on than bookwork so we were always building stuff and being creative to learn about the physics that applied but the more i look at school the less creative it is becoming.

Henry Darger was anything but normal. Henry didnt really have a social life which maes me believe that is what led to im beng different. I think he was creative in what he did. Its amazing ho can can paint thousands of paintings in hi lifetime. I mean the man must not have slept hardly at at. But because his work was so demanding led to him not having a socail life, but that could also be because of hi childhood too. But we should care about his art work, i mean  it was that mans life but I my self am not very interested in his work but i do give him some cedit for what he did.

          Is creativity a talent?
In my opinion creativity is a talent. Cleese’s prospective on creativity though says that creativity is not a talent that a person does have or does not have. But he says that everyone has creativity whether or not they use it. John Cleese also stated that creativity depends on your IQ. In my opinion creativity is a talent because not everyone seems to be creative, which then you could look at it as if it were a sport. Everyone can try to play that sport and be on the team but does not mean they are good at that sport, which we would then say the person that is good at the sport has talent.  That leads back to the creativity idea of talent sure everyone can have creativity but does not mean they are creative, which in my definition of talent is talent is a natural skill. But stated by Cleese that creativity is not a talent, then how can creativity not be a talent. So in my personal opinion creativity is a talent or other words a skill in which we naturally have. But I do agree with the statement that everyone has creativity just a lot of people are scared to use it or do not know how to use it well, which then goes back to it has to be a talent.

Creativity

Whats is Creativity? In my opinion creativity is an idea or action that you would not normally do, but yet you can express yourself by doing it. Creativity can be many of things. you see creativity a lot with little kids playing games and all the weird stories they can come up with. Creativity can be a game, but it is not like a normal game there is something else to it rather than just the game itself. Creativity is like having an imagination in which everyone has one, so really everyone can be creative. Creativity is part of many things in life. It can be in school or a job or even at home with your family. Matter of fact a lot of the time you show creativity toward your family as in going on vacation and planning something fun to do. Creativity seems to come out the most when someone is bored, because you almost have to when there is nothing else to do. But being creative should not be something you have to do, it should be something you want to do. It shows you are a well rounded person that has a good imagination rather than some boring old person who just sits at a desk all day and hates his or her life. Personally i think you need creativity to be successful because things can get boring to quickly. The funny thing is creativity cannot be defined as one single things it is a make up of multiple things which makes it sort of hard to explain, but rather than to demonstrate or present in an activity. Creativity is every where whether people thinks son or not. Mostly i think people are afraid to be creative because others would see it as not cool or thing they are embarrassed to do. But really creativity helps make someone a better rounded person.
